Executive & Team Coach | Leadership consultant | Researcher
My mission? To empower clients to forge culture and foster transformative bonds, all backed by a tapestry of diverse expertise. From business psychology to the soulful melodies of Baroque music, a symphony of scholarship and sagacity signifies my comprehensive approach to problem-solving.
As a leadership consultant, my primary focus is to guide individuals' inner terrain according to both ancient and modern maps of the psyche while navigating the outer terrain of the organization. My goal is to create a culture that enables the co-creation of cultural knowledge and the emergence of new patterns of thinking and knowing. I believe that leadership is about joint exploratory learning and that change processes stem from successful cultural transmission and co-creation.
As a coach I strive to facilitate change in organizations, individuals, and groups. I focus on helping clients build their capacity to create culture and strengthen healing/transformative relationships. In addition to providing team and executive coaching and consulting services, I also supervise other executive coaches.
To facilitate transformative relationships, I apply ancient and modern maps of the mind, drawing on my decades-long spiritual studies in various wisdom traditions (e.g., the Diamond Approach, Mahamudra, and the Arica school) and psychotherapy research.
Education and academia hold a special place in my journey. Since 2011, I've lit the lantern of learning at the university level, supervising budding talents at the master's level, and presented at global conferences. These academic endeavors are enriched with a generous blend of hands-on experiences, crafting a holistic approach to challenges.
I hold an Executive Master in Change from INSEAD, a PhD in psychology, and a certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT. My tenure from 2013 to 2022 as the torchbearer of The Norwegian National Advisory Unit’s Quality Lab for Psychotherapy testifies to my transformative touch. I have communicated the lessons learned from such experiences in 13 illustrious international inprints and a co-authored codex on Mentalization-based Treatment (MBT) published at Gyldendal in 2020.
Beyond the bustling boundaries of academia and business, I bridge the broad spectrum—from the sacred to the scholarly. With over a decade dedicated to development, my dance between delicate dynamics and decisive direction has been displayed through diverse disciplines. Whether it's engaging with students, healthcare luminaries, or top-tier executives, I bring to the table a myriad of experiences, spanning the realms of academia to spiritual introspection, ensuring that solutions are both practical and profound.
My holistic approach to change and development offers a fresh perspective in the field of leadership consultancy. My tapestry of teaching touches terrains uncharted, and my grasp grows from grassroots to galaxies. Join me as we pen a new chapter in the annals of leadership consultancy—one that celebrates a holistic vision of the future.
